At Turning Point, we believe recovery is possible through action, accountability & a solid foundation rooted in a 12 step program.
When we started Turning Point, we wanted to make meetings accessible to those living in sober living homes. The lack of public transit in New Braunfels creates a challenge in members coming into sober living to get to recovery meetings. We therefore positioned our houses within walking distance to daily recovery meetings.
Both of our houses are newly remodeled and beautifully furnished to create a clean/bright space to live in. We are also located near many businesses that create great opportunities for work that are in walking/biking distance.
We currently have a standard Men's Sober Living house and a Mixed Gender "Step Up" house. As members progress in their recovery, they can move into another sober environment with their own room, but with increased autonomy as they grow in their overall life recovery.
We believe in giving our members as many resources as possible to help them be successful in finding employment, fellowship & overall life development skills as they create a foundation of recovery in their lives.
Both houses sit within half a mile of daily recovery meetings, so no car is needed.
Many local businesses are within walking or biking distance for employment opportunities.
